How does it work?
ONIS offers advanced spectacle blind technologies that improve the efficiency of positive isolation in critical applications. This equipment features high-performance spreading and clamping movements, which are controlled either by a lever or a handwheel with gearbox, depending on the diameter. The self-locking mechanism is designed to resist overpressure and vibration, ensuring reliability. The unit is equipped with only four seals on the gate, which are easily accessible for inspection or replacement without the need for disassembly, simplifying maintenance. What’s more, the line blind is factory-adjusted and tested, requiring no further adjustment on site, ensuring a perfect seal.
Important Note: Although the Onis Line Blind is often referred to as a valve replacement, it’s essential to note that it doesn’t replace a valve due to the pipe opening. It’s an efficient alternative to traditional blanking methods such as spectacle blinds, blind flanges, or blank plates.
